This sometimes cheeky, sometimes tender, sometimes disturbing and uncomfortably still-modern tour of early to mid-20th century publications relating to sex and sexuality demonstrates a movement away from the Victorian perspective on "bread and butter" (somehow a euphamis) towards acceptance that sex is a part of our everyday lives... but where does that leave us and what cultural legacies has that perspective left us?
