Follows FEP's guides for a true first (not Book Club or later)- A on copyright statement page above Scribner's seal and blank below; blue publisher's binding with embossed Hemingway signature in lower righthand corner. UNFORTUNATELY, lacks DJ entirely and the covers have sustained the damage of time with spotting and fraying to fabric. Internally, some spotting. Maybe a nice rebind job for a Hemingway fancier. Overall condition FAIR.
