Fifth American, from the Fourth English Edition (18 x 12 cm) pp. 228, [blank], [4 p adverts]. Bound in brown publisher's cloth binding with black decorative lines, title in gilt on spine. Splitting to from and back hinges. Effaced bookplate with handwritten name to poloychrome plate with biblical passages. Advert from 1951 featuring Republic Steel folded and inserted between pages-- has left some staining. Some separation between some of the gatherings (seems to be common to this book), but still firm binding. Slightly cocked. Overall GOOD condition.
