This is a translation of a text based on the Song of Solomon, translated out of Russian into English.
What makes this particular book exceptionally interesting is the inclusion of a ship-to-shore telegraph addressed to “Mrs. Scotland, 135 Beverley Rd., Ruislip Manor” from “Rhodes,” informing her “Home Saturday. Start Express Get Garage Key from Porter Start Frig.” Ruislip Manor, in London, was originally owned by King’s College, Cambridge. Unfortunately the telegraph has not date so it’s difficult to determine its context. A fascinating mystery.
